The makers of Waltair Veerayya, the upcoming Chiranjeevi film, had recently announced that the film will release on January 13, 2023 for the occasion of Sankranthi. Giving a small update about the film, the makers have shared that the film's lead actors are off to Europe to film two songs.

Helmed by filmmaker Bobby Kolli, the film stars Shruti Haasan as the female lead. The film is produced by Naveen Yerneni and Y Ravi Shankar under the Mythri Movie Makers banner. Billed as a mass-action entertainer, Waltair Veeraiya also stars Ravi Teja, and Urvashi Rautela.

While Arthur A Wilson handles the camera, Niranjan Devaramane is the editor and AS Prakash is the production designer. Bobby has written the story and the dialogue for the film. Kona Venkat and K Chakravarthy Reddy have written the screenplay.
