The Ajith Kumar-starrer Thunivu's Telugu theatrical rights sold

We recently reported that the makers wrapped up shooting for Ajith Kumar's Thunivu, and the first single from the film, Chilla Chilla, will be out on Friday.

The latest update is that Thunivu's Telugu theatrical rights are acquired by Ivy Productions and Radha Krishna Entertainments for Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.

Directed by H Vinoth, the film stars Manju Warrier, Veera, Samuthirakani, Ajay, John Kokken, Mahanadhi Shankar, Amir, Pavni, Cibi Chandran, GM Sundar, Bhagavathy Perumal and others, in pivotal roles. The film is all set to hit the theatres for Pongal 2023. 

Thunivu is billed as a bank heist thriller featuring Ajith as a grey-shaded character. The post-production work is going on in full swing, and the team is planning to wrap it up soon. Produced by Bay View Projects and Zee Studios, the film has music by Ghibran, cinematography by Nirav Shah, editing by Vijay Velukutty and stunt choreography by Supreme Sundar.
