In November, we reported that Keedaa Cola, the upcoming Telugu film directed by filmmaker Tharun Bhascker, had commenced production.

After completing the first schedule successfully, the makers resumed filming the second schedule on Saturday. The announcement video featured a glimpse of the film's sets.

The film will mark the third directorial venture of Tharun after Pelli Choopulu (2016) and Ee Nagaraniki Emaindi (2018), besides helming a segment in Pitta Kathalu (2021).

The film is billed as a crime comedy. The word Keedaa means a creature with six legs and Cola is the name of a popular soft-drink brand. Produced by VG Sainma, Keedaa Cola will mark the first production of this banner. Bharath Kumar, Sripad Nandiraj, Upendra Varma, Srinivas Kaushik, Saikrishna Gadwal and Vijay Kumar, serve as the producers. The film will be released in 2023 in Tamil, Malayalam, Hindi and Kannada.
