The makers of the upcoming Bollywood biggie, Brahmastra Part One: Shiva, are busy promoting the film as it gears up for release in a couple of weeks. They have now announced that RRR star Jr NTR will be gracing the pre-release event of the film as the chief guest. The event is set to take place in Hyderabad on September 2.
The news was announced on social media on Saturday with a special video. It is to be noted that Jr NTR and Brahmastra's leading lady, Alia Bhatt, shared screenspace in this year's blockbuster actioner, RRR. Interestingly, RRR director SS Rajamouli is presenting the Telugu and Tamil versions of the film. Moreover, Telugu actor Chiranjeevi lent his voice to the Telugu trailer of the film.
Further strengthening the Telugu bond is the presence of actor Nagarjuna in a prominent role in Brahmastra. The film also stars Amitabh Bachchan and Mouni Roy in the main roles.
Directed by Ayan Mukherjee, Brahmastra is set to release in theatres on September 9, in Telugu, Kannada, Hindi, Malayalam and Tamil.
On the acting front, Jr NTR will be next seen in the Koratala Siva directorial, tentatively titled NTR 31.
