The Telugu Film Producers Council has decided to call off its strike that lasted for 25 days after successfully resolving the issues related to film production and wage structure with the workers of Telugu cinema.

Announcing the end of the strike, Dil Raju, president of Active Telugu Film Producers Guild (ATFPG), said, "We have decided to resume film shootings from September 1 onwards. However, the production teams can obtain the necessary permission from the Telugu Film Producers Council to resume their shooting activities from August 25, in case of any unavoidable circumstances," said Dil Raju.

The veteran producer has also asserted that the negotiations between the associations of film workers have been successful. "The production costs, federation issues, the role of artists' managers, issues pertaining to actors, technicians and the film workers have been resolved. We are content with the unilateral resolutions during these difficult times," added Dil Raju.

The Yevadu producer also stated that the food and beverages at the multiplexes will be sold at affordable prices. "Except for the VFP issue, all the prevalent problems have been sorted out. As a first step, Geetha Arts, NV Prasad and I have agreed to not charge for VPF from the exhibitors and producers from September 1. However, we will announce all the remaining details soon after our last round of talks are completed," he concluded.
