Ahead of Liger's release, Vijay Deverakonda and Ananya Panday, who have come to Bengaluru to promote their film, paid homage to the late Kannada actor Puneeth Rajkumar.
The lead actors of Liger visited Puneeth's Samadhi located at the premise of Kanteerava stadium and paid floral tribute. Puneeth's Samadhi is located within the premises of Kanteerava stadium.
Directed by Puri Jagannadh, the film is set to release worldwide on August 25 in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam. In association with Puri connects, Liger is produced jointly by the Dharma Productions banner. Charmme Kaur, Karan Johar and Apoorva Mehta together are bankrolling the film.
The film also stars Ramya Krishnan, Ronit Roy, Vishu Reddy, Ali, Makarand Desh Pandey, Getup Srinu and ace boxer Mike Tyson in prominent roles.
