After a two-month break, the shoot of Nani's much-awaited rustic drama Dasara is set to resume on Thursday. Directed by debutant Srikanth Odella, the filming will commence in a specially erected Singareni Coal Mines sets in Hyderabad. The film has National Award-winning actor Keerthy Suresh as the female lead, while Samuthirakani, Zareena Wahab and Sai Kumar will be seen in prominent roles.

While the team was scheduled to resume the shoot in the first week of August, the decision to call off the shooting activities by Active Telugu Film Producers Guild (ATFPG) has prompted them to reschedule their plans. Produced by Sudhakar Cherukuri under Sri Lakshmi Venkateswara Cinemas, Dasara is set in Godavarikhani and will showcase Nani and Keerthy in rugged avatars. The technical crew of the film consists of editor Navin Nooli, production designer Avinash Kolla and music composer Santhosh Narayanan. The film will be released next summer in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi.
