Edgar Wright on RRR: What an absolute blast

CE Features

British filmmaker Edgar Wright is the latest in the line to appreciate Indian actioner, RRR. The Baby Driver director had earlier revealed on Twitter that he was waiting to catch the film on the screen. On Saturday he took to the micro-blogging site to share his views on the film, and Wright had great things to say about the SS Rajamouli film.

"Finally saw RRR on the big screen at the BFI with a great crowd. What an absolute blast. So entertaining," Wright wrote, adding, "The only film I have ever seen where the intermission card itself got a round of applause."

James Gunn and Scott Derrickson had also appreciated the film earlier.

RRR, starring Jr NTR and Ram Charan, in the lead roles, was released in March earlier this year and went to become one of the most successful films of the year. The film also featured Olivia Morris, Alia Bhatt and Ajay Devgn in supporting roles.
