We had earlier reported that actor Ravi Teja's nephew Maadhav Bhupathiraju is making his debut in Telugu cinema with a love story. The makers, on Tuesday, announced the film's first look and title on the occasion of its producer Nallamalapu Bujji's birthday.
Titled Ey Pilla, the film is set in a rural backdrop and also marks the debut of Miss India runner-up Rubal Shekhawat as the leading lady. The poster showcases the actors staring into each other's eyes with love and affection.
"Ey Pilla is a feel-good love story with a thrilling undertone. The film is set in the '90s and we are planning to commence principal photography in September," said Bujji.
Ey Pilla has a story written by P Ramesh Varma, with Anwar Mohammad penning the dialogues. The film also introduces Ludheer Byreddy, a former associate of BVS Ravi, as the director. The technical crew includes cinematographer Sam K Naidu and art director Chinna. Mickey J Meyer is the music director.
The makers are planning to wrap up the film in three months and release it during the fag end of this year.
