Liger’s lead actor Vijay Deverakonda and director Puri Jagannadh met with Chiranjeevi and Salman Khan on the set of Godfather, the Telugu remake of the Malayalam film Lucifer.

The Godfather team was shooting for a special song with Chiranjeevi and Salman Khan on a special set and both of them conveyed their best wishes to the Liger team.

In association with Puri connects, the film is being produced jointly by the Dharma Productions banner. Charmme Kaur, Karan Johar and Apoorva Mehta together are bankrolling the film. The film also features actors Ananya Pandey as the female lead, Ronit Roy as the coach, Vishu Reddy, Ali, Makarand Desh Pandey and Getup Srinu.

The pan-Indian film will be released in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam on August 25.
