Syed Sohel's new film Lucky Lakshman has been launched officially on Friday. Directed by debutant AR Abhi and produced by Haritha Gogineni and Ramya Prabhakar, the family drama revolves around a young man who is plagued by endless bad luck in his life.

Abhi said that he was happy to collaborate with Sohel on a content-based film. "It's an out-and-out family entertainer with loads of comedy. Sohel's characterization will be unique and he will be seen sporting a new avatar. I am feeling delighted to get a better makeover for my debut film. We are planning to begin filming on April 24 in Hyderabad and are determined to wrap up the entire film in a little over two months.

Also starring Moksha, Raja Ravindra and Sameer, Lucky Lakshman has music by Anup Rubens.
