The first look of Rana Daggubati's character Daniel Shekar from his upcoming film Bheemla Nayak is out. Titled Blitz of Daniel Shekar, the first look teaser has raked in over million views with 38k likes on YouTube.

Directed by Saagar K Chandra, Bheemla Nayak is the remake of the Malayalam film Ayyappanum Koshiyum. The action thriller also features Pawan Kalyan, Nithya Menen and Aishwarya Rajesh in important roles.

Ayyappanum Koshiyum revolves around the battle of egos between a police officer named Ayyappan Nair, played by Biju Menon, and an ex-Havildar named Koshy Kurien, essayed by Prithviraj Sukumaran. While Pawan Kalyan will be seen in Biju Menon's role, Rana reprises Prithviraj's character.

Bheemla Nayak is being bankrolled by S Naga Vamsi and also has dialogues written by Trivikram Srinivas. The film has music scored by SS Thaman.

The film is slated to release on January 12, 2022.
