Actor Ram Charan's next pan-Indian film, tentatively called RC 15, was launched with a formal puja ceremony in Hyderabad on Wednesday. Billed to be a political thriller, the film will mark Charan's first collaboration with director Shankar.

Charan took to Twitter to announce the launch of the film and wrote,

The film follows the story of an honest IAS officer who wars against a corrupt Chief Minister and eventually becomes a powerful political leader of the State. There are speculations that Ram Charan will be seen playing dual roles in the film.

Kiara Advani, who earlier worked with Charan in Vinaya Vidheya Rama (2019), is reuniting with the actor in the film, while Anjali, Sunil, Naveen Chandra, and Jayaram will be seen in supporting roles.

The film's launch was attended by Chiranjeevi, Ranveer Singh, SS Rajamouli, and other cast and crew of RC 15.

Bankrolled by Dil Raju, RC 15 will release in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi in 2022. The film has music by SS Thaman.
