We had earlier reported that Balakrishna Nandamuri is teaming up with director Anil Ravipudi for an action-packed family entertainer. Produced by Sahu Garapati and Harish Peddi under Shine Screens, the film will be launched on October 15, coinciding with Dasara. According to a well placed source, the film will tap into the comic potential of Balaya and Anil is making sure that the project has all the commercial elements one would expect from this combination.

Balakrishna is mighty impressed with the script and the pre production has been on since a while. The team will commence the principal photography by the end of November. Balakrishna will explore a hitherto unseen avatar and is set to don a new look, informs a source close to the development.

Balakrishna will next be seen in Boyapati Sreenu action entertainer, Akhanda. Also starring Pragya Jaiswal and Poorna, the film is slated to release around Dasara. He has also committed to work in director Gopichand Malineni period drama. Produced by Mythri Movie Makers, the untitled film will go on floors in October. Buzz is that Balayya will be shooting simultaneously for both Anil and Gopichand's films and is planning to have two releases in 2022.
