CE Features

Allu Arjun's long-awaited youthful entertainer, Icon - Kanapadutaledhu, will feature two female leads.

If the buzz in the tinsel town is anything to go by, actors Pooja Hegde and Kriti Shetty have been approached for the part. Directed by Sriram Venu, Icon revolves around a stolen bike and the film’s tagline ‘Kanapadutaledhu’ exemplifies this credo.

"Sriram is considering both Pooja and Kriti as Allu Arjun's leading ladies. Kriti is almost certain to play the role, but Pooja is yet to respond to the offer. She may give her nod if all goes well with regards to the script and her availability of call sheets," reveals a source close to the development.

Set in North India, Icon is rumoured to have Allu Arjun essaying the role of a visually impaired youngster. The pre-production of Icon has begun recently and producer Dil Raju is planning to launch the film on October 15, coinciding with Dasara.
