Legendary Telugu actor Kaikala Satyanarayana, 86, has been hospitalized due to ill health in Hyderabad on Saturday night. According to a source, Satyanarayana had slipped and sustained a fall earlier this week at his home and was shifted to a private hospital in the city for treatment as a precautionary measure.

According to reports, the veteran actor is responding to the treatment and his condition remains to be stable. "Kaikala Satyanarayana's vital parameters seem to be alright and he is under the good care of the doctors at the hospital. He is a strong man with a positive attitude and will be discharged soon," says a source close to the actor.

In a career spanning over five decades, Satyanarayana has acted in over 800 films and produced several hit films under his home production, Rama Films.

Kaikala Satyanarayana had recently presented the Telugu dubbed version of Kannada blockbuster KGF: Chapter 1 and he is now awaiting the release of KGF 2.

Fondly called Navarasa Natanaa Sarwabhowma, Kaikala Satyanarayana was recently seen in Mahesh Babu-starrer Maharshi (2019).
