Chiranjeevi's Acharya to release in February

CE Features

The release date of Chiranjeevi's upcoming film Acharya is out. The socio-political entertainer, which is being directed by Koratala Siva, will release in theatres on February 4 next year. The news has been shared by Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan on Twitter.

"#Acharya Arrives on 4th Feb22 (sic)," tweets Ram Charan, who is also making a special appearance in the film, besides donning the producer's hat.

Also starring Kajal Aggarwal, Pooja Hegde, and Sonu Sood, Acharya was supposed to hit the screens in August. However, the film's release has been deferred due to the rise of Covid-19 cases. Recently, the makers have also contemplated releasing Acharya on December 17, but they have changed their minds to accommodate Allu Arjun's pan-India film Pushpa: The Rise.

The shooting of Acharya has been wrapped up and the post-production is underway. The film's music is by Mani Sharma.
