Actor Vijay Deverakonda's Liger will clash with Mahesh Babu's Sarkaru Vaari Paata on April 1 next year, say reports.

The martial arts drama directed by Puri Jagannadh has Vijay playing the role of a martial artist with a stutter. Also starring Ananya Panday, the film is being made in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi. 

The makers had recently completed the US schedule of the film, wherein the team filmed crucial sequences on Vijay, Ananya Panday, and Mike Tyson.

On the other hand, Sarkaru Vaari Paata, featuring Mahesh Babu and Keerthy Suresh, is in the last leg of its production, and the entire talkie part is expected to be wrapped up by mid-December. 

Directed by Parasuram Petla, Sarkaru Vaari Paata also features Samuthirakani, Vennela Kishore and Subbaraju in prominent roles.
