While the makers of Pushpa had earlier announced that the film will be releasing in two parts with the first film being titled Pushpa: The Rise, the title of the second part has been revealed at the end of the first film. The second film has been titled Pushpa: The Rule.

Directed by B Sukumar, Pushpa: The Rise released in theatres today across the nation in four languages—Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, and Kannada—with the Malayalam version set to release tomorrow. The film opened to mixed critical reception, but it is expected to take a favourable start at the box office. 

The film stars Allu Arjun in the titular role, and features Rashmika Mandanna, Sunil, Ajay Ghosh, Anasuya Baradwaj and Fahadh Faasil in supporting roles. The makers are yet to announce when the second film will hit the marquee.
