Vijay Deverakonda-Puri Jagannadh's Liger release date out

The makers are also planning to release a glimpse of the film on December 31

The release date of Vijay Deverakonda's upcoming pan-Indian martial arts drama Liger is out. The much-awaited Puri Jagannadh directorial is set for a theatrical release on August 25 in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi. The makers are also planning to release a glimpse of the film on December 31.

Liger showcases Vijay Deverakonda as a MMA fighter and the Arjun Reddy actor trained extensively in cage fights and other full-contact combat sports in Thailand

The film marks the debut of Mike Tyson and Ananya Panday in Telugu cinema.

Liger also features Ramya Krishnan, Ronit Roy and Makarand Deshpande in pivotal roles. The makers recently wrapped up a schedule in the US and are planning to resume the next schedule soon.

Presented by Karan Johar, Liger has background score composed by Mani Sharma, and songs by Tanishk Bagchi.
