Pushpa The Rise's Allu Arjun speaks about cancelled meet-and-greet after fans sustain injuries

A meet-and-greet event for fans of Allu Arjun was planned at the N-Convention Center in Madhapur, Hyderabad, before the star's big release of the year. The Pushpa actor, however, cancelled the program and a photo session due to unforeseen reasons and this irked the fans. The organizers of the event who had got permission for a gathering of 200 individuals ended up letting 2000 people enter for the event causing further confusion. Fans sustained injuries at this time in the resulting chaos.  

Following this, Allu Arjun released a statement on his Instagram handle. In a story, the actor wrote, "I got to know about the unfortunate incident of my fans getting injured at a fan meet event today. My team is personally monitoring the situation and keeping me updated. Henceforth, I will take a lot of care to ensure that such incidents don’t happen again. Your love and admiration are my biggest asset and I am never going to take them for granted."

The actor is gearing up for the release of Pushpa The Rise: Part 1 directed by Rangasthalam director Sukumar. The film is scheduled to be released on December 17 and it also stars Fahadh Faasil, Rashmika Mandanna, Sunil, among others in pivotal roles. A special song from the film featuring Samantha titled Oo Antava Oo Oo Antava was also released recently to much appreciation.
