On the occasion of Rana Daggubati's birthday, a teaser from his upcoming film, Bheemla Nayak, was released by the makers.

Titled Swag of Daniel Shekar, the teaser shows a disgruntled Rana venting out his frustration over Bheemla Nayak, the suspended sub-inspector played by Pawan Kalyan. The shooting of the film is nearing completion and the team is planning to release it on January 12.

A remake of the Malayalam action thriller Ayyappanum Koshiyum, Bheemla Nayak is being helmed by Saagar K Chandra and also stars Nithya Menen and Aishwarya Rajesh as the leading ladies.

The story of Ayyappanum Koshiyum revolves around the battle of egos between a police officer named Ayyappan Nair, played by Biju Menon, and an ex-Havildar named Koshy Kurien, essayed by Prithviraj Sukumaran. While Pawan Kalyan will be seen in Biju Menon's role, Rana reprises Prithviraj's character. The film has dialogues written by Trivikram Srinivas and music composed by SS Thaman.

Meanwhile, the makers of Rana's other film, Virata Parvam have also released a teaser called The Voice of Ravanna earlier today coinciding with the Baahubali actor's 37th birthday.
