Sekhar Kammula's Love Story, starring Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi in the lead roles, is set to release in theatres on September 10, coinciding with Ganesh Chaturthi, the makers announced on Wednesday. "This Vinayaka Chaviti is extra special! Love Story releasing in theatres near you on September 10," wrote Chaitanya on Twitter, while revealing the release date with a new poster.

Love Story was among the biggies that were scheduled to release earlier this summer, but had to postpone due to the resurgence of Covid-19. The film's first single, Sarang Dariya composed by Pawan CH, is an immense hit on the internet, garnering more than 300 million views on YouTube so far. Produced by Sree Venkateswara Cinemas LLP, the film has cinematography by Vijay C Kumar, while Marthand K Venkatesh will be handling the editing.

Meanwhile, Sekhar Kammula is set to team up with Dhanush for a Tamil-Telugu bilingual soon, while Sai Pallavi has Venu Udugula-directorial Virata Parvam and Nani-starrer Shyam Singha Roy in her pipeline. Chaitanya, on the other hand, will be seen in Thank You directed by Vikram Kumar. He is also acting in Aamir Khan's Laal Singh Chaddha.
