Filming of Chiru 153 begins

The shooting of Chiranjeevi's next, tentatively titled Chiru 153, has begun earlier today, the makers announced. Directed by Mohan Raja, the film is speculated to be a remake of the Malayalam blockbuster Lucifer, starring Mohanlal. Mohan Raja took to Twitter to announce the commencement of filming. "With the blessings of parents and well-wishers starting next journey, this time a Mega one," wrote Mohan Raja.

Thaman S, who is composing music for the film, shared on social media that he finished composing a song for the film while sharing a picture with the director and Chiranjeevi. Chiru 153 has cinematography by Nirav Shah, while Stunt Selva will be choreographing action sequences. The makers of the film are yet to announce the primary cast of the film.

The film will be produced by Chiranjeevi's home banner, Konidela Production Company, in association with Megaa Super Good Films. Meanwhile, Chiranjeevi is currently awaiting the release of the Koratala Siva directorial Acharya, co-starring Ram Charan, Kajal Aggarwal, and Pooja Hegde. He will be teaming up with filmmaker Bobby for his next.
