RK Sagar to star in The 100

The film will feature Sagar in the role of a cop named Vikranth

Actor RK Sagar, who plunged from television to feature films in 2016 with Siddartha, will be playing the lead in the upcoming Telugu film, The 100. The film will be directed by Raghav Omkar Sasidhar, who has earlier directed two award-winning short films titled Nannu Kshaminchandi and Laddu.

Raghav, who has also written the film, took to social media to share the news. While sharing the film's first-look poster, Raghav wrote, "Very happy to announce my upcoming project with hero RK Sagar garu titled The 100. Get ready to experience this emotional action thriller soon. The shoot is about to begin. Need all your wishes and support."

The film will feature Sagar in the role of a cop named Vikranth. Bankrolled by RK Media Works, the film will have cinematography by Shyam K Naidu. Meanwhile, Sagar was last seen in the Dil Raju-produced Shaadi Mubarak.
