Buffoon trailer promises a gripping crime thriller

The makers have announced September 23 as the release date

The trailer of Vaibhav's upcoming film Buffoon is out. Directed by Ashok Veerappan, the film looks like a crime thriller from the trailer. Vaibhav seems to be an ordinary youngster who harbours dreams of going abroad but gets caught in a gruesome world of crimes. Filmmaker Karthik Subbaraj is presenting the film through his production house Stonebench Films.

Anagha, who plays the female lead in the film, makes a brief appearance in the trailer. Malayalam actor Joju George, familiar to the Tamil audience with his role in Jagame Thandhiram, plays an important role. Anthakudi Ilaiyaraja, Adukalam Naren, Moonar Ramesh, Tamizh, Adukalam Jeyabalan, and Madurai MP Vishwanathan are also part of the cast.

Dinesh Purushothaman has shot the film, which has music by Santhosh Narayanan. The makers have announced September 23 as the release date.
