DSP single Annapoorani is out: Sid Sriram sings a folk melody in D Imman's composition

With just days left for the release of Vijay Sethupathi's upcoming cop drama, DSP, the makers shared the second single of the film.

After the first single, Nalla Irumma, which brought back veteran singer Udit Narayan to Tamil, the team shared the latest song, titled Annapoorani.

With music by D Imman, the song is sung by Sid Sriram and Lalitha Vijaykumar, and written by director Ponram himself. 

Backed by Kaarthekeyen Santhanam, DSP has Vijay Sethupathi as a cop named Vasco Da Gama.

Billed as a mass entertainer, the film also features former Miss India World Anukreety Vas, Shivani Narayanan, Pugazh, Ilavarasu, Gnanasammandhan, Deepa, and Singampuli.

With cinematography by Venkatesh S and Dinesh Krishnan B, DSP will be edited by Vivek Harshan.

Meanwhile, DSP has also been certified U/A by the censor board. Vijay Sethupathi, who was last seen in the Malayalam film 19(1)(a), has a handful of projects lined up including Michael, Merry Christmas, Viduthalai, Mumbaikar, and Jawan.
