Trailer of SonyLIV's Meme Boys out

SonyLIV has unveiled the trailer of its upcoming Tamil original Meme Boys. The one-minute-forty-second-long trailer promises a quirky comedy-drama high on Tamil pop culture references. The trailer begins with four college students being apprehended by the police as the students on the campus witness in silence.

The first scene emulates Vijay's entry in the 2017 actioner Mersal. Rajinikanth's iconic introduction scene from Sivaji is also paid homage as the main characters of Meme Boys are introduced in a similar style, revealing that they have been arrested for posting memes for the people of the nation.

The show stars Aditya Bhaskar, Namrata, Jayant, Siddharth, Badava Gopi, Latha Venkatraman, Sri Ganesh, and Nikhil Nair. Created by Rajiv Rajaram and Drishya, A Gokul Krishna serves as the showrunner while Arun Koushik directs.

The show is yet to get a streaming date.
