Vikram dubs for Ponniyin Selvan in 5 languages, check video here

The makers of Ponniyin Selvan (PS-1) have shared a short glimpse of actor Vikram dubbing in five languages for the film. The actor plays Prince Aditya Karikalan's role. In the film's teaser, he is seen sporting long hair and a twirled moustache.​

Directed by Mani Ratnam, Ponniyin Selvan is a duology based on Kalki Krishnamoorthy's epic novel of the same name. The first part is set to hit screens on September 30.

Apart from Vikram, the film also stars Karthi, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Trisha, and Jayam Ravi in the lead. The ensemble includes Vikram Prabhu, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Prabhu, Jayaram, Prakash Raj, Lal, Sarath Kumar, Babu Antony, Riyaz Khan, Arjun Chidambaram, and Ashwin Kakamanu.

Backed by Madras Talkies and Lyca Productions, Ponniyin Selvan has music by AR Rahman, and a screenplay by Mani Ratnam, Jeyamohan, and Kumaravel. With cinematography by Ravi Varman, the film has production design by Thota Tharani and editing by Sreekar Prasad. 

Vikram, who recently recovered from chest discomfort, has Cobra gearing up for release. The Ajay Gnanamuthu directorial is slated to hit screens on August 11.
