The teaser of Arun Vijay's maiden web series Tamil Rockerz has been released. It has glimpses of how the infamous piracy group became a headache to the Tamil film industry. The teaser shows how they publicly announce their plan to leak a massively budgeted and highly anticipated film.

Arun Vijay, who is seen wielding guns, is playing a cop named Rudra. Battling a scarred past, he has to fight against time, unruly fans, and an anonymous network of cyber pirates to secure the movie.

While the release date of the series has not yet been announced, it will premiere on SonyLIV.

Tamil Rockerz is directed by Arivazhagan, with whom Arun Vijay has previously worked in Kuttram 23 and Borrder (soon-to-be-released).

The series also stars Vani Bhojan, Iswarya Menon, Azhagam Perumal, Vinodhini Vaidyanathan, and MS Bhaskar, among others. AVM Productions is backing the project as their maiden series production.

Meanwhile, Arun Vijay was last seen in Yaanai, a rural family-drama directed by Hari. The Thadam actor's others films in various stages of production, include Agni Siragugal, and Sinam.
