Kiruthiga Udhayanidhi, who has previously made films like Vanakkam Chennai and Kaalai, is next helming a web series titled Paper Rocket. The announcement was made on Wednesday during Zee5's promotional event, Oru Awesome Thodakkam. It stars Kalidas Jayaram and Tanya Ravichandran as the leads.

The makers have also released the first single, Kaalai Maalai, sung by Sid Sriram. The song is composed by Dharan Kumar, and lyrics is penned by Vivek.

The cast of Paper Rocket also includes Gouri G Kishan, K Renuka, Karunakaran, Nirmal Palazhi, Dr Dheeraj, Nagineedu, Chinni Jayanth, Kaali Venkat, Poornima Bhagyaraj, GM Kumar, Abishek, and Priyadarshini.

Richard M Nathan is the cinematographer and edits are handled by Lawrence Kishore. Simon K King is in charge of the background score.
