After the success of Kathodu Kaathaanen and Pathu Kaasu, Nagarodi, the third single from Vasanthabalan's upcoming film, Jail, was released on Tuesday. The Sarpatta director-actor duo of Pa Ranjith and Arya released the video on social media.

The film, which stars GV Prakash and Abarnathi in the leads, has the former composing music too. In fact, GV Prakash took to social media and said, "A song of which I will always be proud."

Sung by Prakash, Arivu and Ananya Bhatt, the song has been written by Arivu and is based on the difficulties faced by employment seekers who come to the cities and live in tough situations. 

Jail has been in production for some time now, and is expected to be released soon. The film also stars Radikaa Sarathkumar, Ravi Maria, Robo Shankar, and Yogi Babu in pivotal roles. 

Backed by Sridharan Mariathasan's Krikes Cine Creations, Jail has cinematography and editing by AR Ashok Kumar and Raymond Derrick Crasta, respectively.
