Recently, on World Disability Day, the makers of Maayon released a special teaser, exclusively for the visually challenged. The film starring Sibi Sathyaraj and Tanya Ravichandran is directed by Kishore N.

Arun Mozhi Manickam is scripting and producing Maayon under the banner of Double Meaning Productions. The decision to release a teaser specially crafted for the visually challenged has been praised by many. The producer felt the need to play a part in creating an inclusive society where everyone including the physically challenged could achieve big and make the world a better place for everyone to live. Special audio notes have been rendered for the new teaser by 'Inspiring' Ilango, a specially challenged artiste.

"Through the audio description in our teaser, we believe we have given them joy and happiness to enjoy the journey of our movie right from the beginning. We encourage our fellow film industry colleagues as well as other industry experts to make more works in the future by including them in every aspect of life so that they can have an inclusive experience of what is common to all", Arun Mozhi Manickam said in a statement.

Maayon is about an archaeology team’s quest to uncover the history of an ancient temple. The film also stars Radha Ravi, KS Ravikumar, Bagavathi Perumal, Hareesh Peradi, and Arash Shah among others.
