On Tuesday, key members of the South Indian Film Writers Association met Sivakarthikeyan and extended their respects to him and invited the actor to attend an event that the organisation will organise. The meeting saw the presence of association’s President Cheran, General Secretary Pattukottai Prabakar, Treasurer Sundarrajan, Vice President Snehan, as well as Executive Committee members Selva Bharathi and KBB Naveen.

The actor accepted the association's request to attend their event and joined the organisation in the role of a lyricist. He also provided multiple inputs for the benefit of the organisation.

Besides appearing in multiple films as a lead actor and producing several titles through his eponymous banner, Sivakarthikeyan has written lyrics for several film songs. These include 'Kalyana Vayasu' from 2018's Nayanthara starrer Kolamaavu Kokila, 'Edakku Modakku' from 2021's Naai Sekar, and 'Arabic Kuthu' from the 2022 Vijay headliner Beast and 'Summa Surrunu' from the same year's Suriya starrer Etharkkum Thunindhavan.

'Arabic Kuthu,' especially, is known for its peppy and energetic tunes and fast-paced lyrics that have made it popular among the masses. It ranks fifth on the list of the highest-viewed Tamil film songs on YouTube.

On the film front, Sivakarthikeyan is in production for Seyon, his upcoming film with Thaai Kizhavi director Sivakumar Murugesan. Also starring Bhagyashri Borse, Raj B Shetty, and Seeman, among others, the film brings Sivakarthikeyan back together with Sivakumar Murugesan after Thaai Kizhavi, which the lead actor produced through his banner. It also reunites the actor with his Amaran producer, Kamal Haasan of Raaj Kamal Films International.

The actor is also set to come back together with his Don (2022) director Cibi Chakaravarthi for a film soon. He is expected to appear in a film, to be directed by Venkat Prabhu, as well.
