Actor Nimisha Sajayan is gearing up for the September 17 release of her film, Enna Vilai, which marks the directorial debut of Thondimuthalum Driksakshiyum fame writer Sajeev Pazhoor. The courtroom drama stars Nimisha as a lawyer named Kanchana. The film also features Karunaas in the lead role. The cast includes Vijayalakshmi Veeramani, Kamalesh Jagan, Chethan Cheenu, Mohan Raman, Kavithalaya Krishnan, Swaminathan, Nizhalgal Ravi, Poornima Bhagyaraj, Viviya Santh, Deepa Shankar, Mottai Rajendran, Pandi, Shasha Shivakumar, Heesha, and TSR Srinivasan.

On Wednesday, Nimisha Sajayan took to social media and shared an emotional note, expressing her gratitude to director Sajeev and her excitement for the upcoming release.

She wrote, referring to Thondimuthalum Driksakshiyum, "Dear Sajeev Chettan, nine years later, we are collaborating again and it feels so special. In 2017, you gave me SREEJA, my debut character, and in many ways that’s where this beautiful journey began for me."

The actor added, "And after nine years you have once again given me a character that is so special and close to my heart..Kanchana."

She expressed her gratitude to Sajeev for entrusting her with the role. "Thank you for trusting me with Kanchana. Thank you for believing in me..for supporting me and for being there throughout this journey," she wrote.

Expressing her eagerness for the release of the film, she added, "Tomorrow is a very special day as Enna Vilai releases… your debut as a director. I’ve seen your dedication, passion & all the love you’ve poured into this film. We’ve all witnessed the writer in you & tomorrow the world gets to witness the director. I’m so excited and incredibly proud of you."

She ended her note with a request to audiences to watch her film in theatres on Thursday.
