For Aarti Ravi and actor Ravi Mohan, social media has repeatedly become an extension of a much larger conversation that began with their separation and has since involved public statements, legal proceedings and a steady stream of cryptic posts.

Aarti has often chosen implication over direct confrontation in her recent social media activity. Her posts have ranged from messages about dignity and silence to remarks that followers have interpreted in the context of her ongoing dispute with Ravi. Meanwhile, Ravi has also made public statements about the strain of the past few years, including his decision to temporarily step away from acting before later reversing it.

Against this backdrop, Aarti’s latest Instagram Story has once again caught attention. Without naming anyone, she wrote that a person who had entered her life had put on such an impressive performance that even Suriya, Ajith, Vikram and Kamal Haasan would be left behind, adding that an acting Oscar should be given to him.

While Ravi Mohan is not mentioned in the post, its timing has led several social media users to interpret the remark as a reference to the actor. The post comes amid renewed online discussion surrounding Ravi and singer Keneeshaa Francis, following the circulation of a video featuring the two.

The latest post also comes after a series of developments in the estranged couple’s long-running dispute. Ravi had earlier spoken publicly about the emotional toll of the separation and said in May that he would not act until his divorce proceedings were completed. He later withdrew that decision, apologising to fans and saying he would continue working in films.

The legal battle has meanwhile continued alongside the social media exchanges. Aarti’s mother Sujatha Vijayakumar recently responded to discussions surrounding the interim maintenance case, disputing the widely reported interpretation of the Rs 40 lakh figure and saying the amount had been linked to various expenses. Ravi, for his part, has continued to address aspects of the dispute through public statements and social media.
