Actor-racecar driver Ajith Kumar's upcoming documentary, Gladiators, will have its trailer debut in theatres across Tamil Nadu and Pondicherry, on September 6. The upcoming trailer has been revealed to be over 3 minutes in length and has been rated U/A 13 by the Central Board of Certification (CBFC).
Gladiators is directed by Vijay, who has previously directed films like Deivathirumagal (2011) and Saivam (2014). It is expected to document the racing endeavors of Ajith Kumar who has been racing as part of the Ajith Kumar Racing team, alongside former Formula 1 competitor Narain Karthikeyan, in endurance races including Le Mans series.
Shalini Ajithkumar will produce Gladiators under her Golden Trophy Film Production banner. She is also backing Ajith Kumar's upcoming film with Adhik Ravichandran Daredevil.
GV Prakash Kumar, who is director's Vijay recurring collaborator, is composing the music for Gladiators. He was also the composer for Ajith's last feature film, Good Bad Ugly (2025).
The crew of Gladiators also includes videographer Noel Kemman, cinematographers Ribhu Sarma and Kabilan Vinayic, and editor Anthony.
