The makers of the upcoming sports drama Mandaadi have released the trailer for the film. Soori leads the cast of the film, which is set to open in theatres on September 10.

The trailer for Mandaadi revealed the story for the film, which follows the rivalry between two clans of yacht racers who fight for glory. Soori's character is shown to be a champion ofthe sport, who has left it and his village for an unknown reason. In his return, he coaches a new team in order to win over the team taken care of by the troublemaker Sattai Puli (Suhas). The story is hinted to revolved around the impact this will have on their family and everyone else.

The cast of the film includes Mahima Nambiar, Sathyaraj, Mithun Jai Sankar, Ravindra Vijay, Bala Saravanan, Stun Siva and others.

GV Prakash Kumar composes music for the film, which features lyrics by Pa Vijay, Jayashree Mathimaran, Vaaheesan Rasaiya. The crew of the film includes cinematographer SR Kathir, editor Pradeep E Ragav, production designer DRK Kiran, with action choreographers Peter Hein, Dilip Subbarayan and Mahesh Mathew.

Elred Kumar is producing the film under his RS Infortainment banner. He has also written for the film along with R Mohanavasanthan and Thiral Sankar.
