Baththa box office day 6: The Vijay Sethupathi headlined comedy drama, Baththa, is continuing to perform well at the Indian box office in its sixth day at theatres. The film is written and directed by Balaji Tharanetharan, who has collaborated with the actor on Naduvula Konjam Pakkatha Kaanom (2012) and Seethakaathi (2018).

According to box office tracker Sacnilk, Baththa collected Rs 1.40 crores (nett) at the Indian box office on day six of its theatrical run. While a slight increase from the single collections of day five, the film has collected a total of Rs 14.78 crores (gross) and Rs 12.75 crores (nett) in India.

Baththa follows the story of a gangster, who is accidentally locked up in a school's toilet by a young boy. As they come to terms with the incident, the film follows the life changing effects of the incident.

The cast of the film includes Lijomol Jose, Sai Prithvi Raj, Sahasra Shree, Santhy Balachandran, Harikrishnan, Ajay Ghosh, Deepa Venkat, Arjun Chidambaram, and Vishnu Aravind.

CE's review of the film reads, "They say life has a way of humbling you. What they don’t say is that, often, life has a sense of humour about it. That is exactly what Baththa expands upon, through a wholesome story that has a surprisingly effective mix of a family drama, a children’s adventure, a father’s ‘hero’s journey’, a short mystery, a short survival thriller, and a gangster’s coming-of-age."
