Dhanush and Mammootty's upcoming film Om, has been confirmed to release on November 20. Dhanush is producing the upcoming film under his Wunderbar Films banner, along with Shraddha Agrawal and Azmat Jagmag, with RTake Studios also backing it.

Om is written and directed by Amaran-fame Rajkumar Periasamy, and was initially set to release on October 16. Dhanush later announced that the release has been postponed in order to avoid a clash with Rajinikanth's Jailer 2, which is set to release on October 15. Dhanush also clarified that the film won't be releasing on Diwali, as Suriya's Scene is releasing close to the festival.

The cast of the upcoming film includes Sai Pallavi, Sreeleela, and Naseeruddin Shah, among others. While Mammootty is returning to Tamil cinema, after Ram's Peranbu (2019), Naseeruddin is making his Tamil debut.

Sai Abhyankkar is composing music for Om. He will continue his collaboration with Dhanush, in Vetri Maaran's Thamizh Murugan.

The crew of Om includes cinematographer Ezhil Arasu K, editor R Kalaivanan, art director A Pannerselvam, action choreographers Yannick Ben and Kecha Khamphakdee.

Om will be Dhanush's second release of 2026. He was previously seen in Vignesh Raja's Kara.
