On Tuesday, we reported about the Government of Tamil Nadu allowing as many as six shows daily in the first week for new film releases in theatres across the state, including the provision for 6 AM screenings. Soon after the move, the makers of November 06 releases such as Suriya's Scene, Nayanthara's Mookuthi Amman 2, and Nitesh Tiwari-Ranbir Kapoor's Ramayana have opened early morning shows for their films. Subsequently, several producers in Tamil cinema have welcomed the move to permit 6 AM screenings across the state.

Passion Studios expressed their gratitude to CM Vijay for what they described as a "progressive initiative," which they said "will enable greater flexibility in film programming and exhibition, creating valuable opportunities for films of all scales." Passion Studios also thanked Rajmohan, who also serves as a Minister for the Film Technology and Cinematograph Act in Tamil Nadu, for the "welcome move".

On the other hand, producer Ishari K Ganesh's banner Vels Film International, which backs Nayanthara-Sundar C's Mookuthi Amman 2, also expressed their gratitude to the Chief Minister and Rajmohan for permitting 6 am screenings.

In a letter shared on social media, Vels Film International wrote, "On behalf of the team of Mookuthi Amman 2 - Mahasakthi, we wish to express our heartfelt gratitude to the Honourable Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu Thiru C. Joseph Vijay sir and the Honourable Minister Thiru Rajmohan sir for permitting theatres to screen up to six shows a day and allowing the first show to commence as early as 6:00 am." The note further added, "Your decision is a significant encouragement to the Tamil film industry and a wonderful gesture towards cinema lovers. This progressive initiative has paved the way for Mookuthi Amman 2 to reach audiences across Tamil Nadu, enabling more people to experience and celebrate the film on the big screens. We sincerely appreciate your support and commitment to creating greater opportunities for Tamil cinema and its vibrant film industry."
