Urvashi has starred with Kamal Haasan in many memorable films, notably 1990's Michael Madana Kama Rajan, Panchatanthiram, and Uttama Villain, to name a few. Recently, the actor spoke about her collaboration with Kamal and about what makes him such a good performer.

Speaking to Sudhir Srinivasan, Urvashi said, "What can I say about Kamal sir? Just to be able to work with him alone brings me great joy. He is a man born for cinema." She said that working opposite Kamal in those iconic comedy films alone would elevate his co-stars' performances. "If you simply observe him while performing, you would automatically be in sync with his timing. He is such a performer and an all-rounder," Urvashi stated.

Picking Michael Madana Kama Rajan as her favourite film with Kamal, the actor said that she has a "very special" track with her co-star in the 1990 film, despite it having four heroines. "It is a track with no villain. Perhaps only the grandmother (SN Lakshmi) is a bit villainous in it. Our characters are innocent; then, the film has Delhi Ganesh sir." Urvashi added that such films are unimaginable without Kamal Haasan.

She spoke about 2010's Manmadan Ambu, which too stars her alongside Kamal. "He has sang a track in reverse in Manmadan Ambu. He chants a Sanskrit mantra in reverse to the original priest! He also sings it with correct lip movement. It is very difficult. I do not know how he does such things! Only he can do it; nobody else can," Urvashi said, referring to the 'Neela Vaanam' song.

The actor will next be seen in Parimala and Co, starring alongside his longtime co-star Jayaram.
