Chief Minister Vijay continues to have high-profile visitors at his secretariat building, even days after taking charge as the state CM. The latest to visit the actor-turned-CM is his longtime friend Sriman. Sharing pictures featuring him with the CM, Sriman wrote, "May your Delhi trip as a Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu be a great successful one God will bless all your moves Your imagination will become reality RESPECTED C M Very proud of you Take the state to next level Our support - love and prayers are always there for you Om Namashivayam."

Sriman's post comes ahead of Vijay's visit to Delhi to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The actor has long been a supporter of the superstar-turned-CM, including the time when the latter faced much criticism following his actions related to the Karur Stampede.

Recently, when the government approved a request to screen five shows on the first week of new film releases, Sriman welcomed the move. He wrote, "Respected Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, Thank you for permitting new films to have 5 shows in the first week. The entire film industry and film lovers are grateful to you. Sir, every decision of yours uplifts our lives. God bless you sir."

Before that, when the government announced a major loan waiver for farmers, the actor appreciated the move. "Dear C M THANK YOU SO MUCH GOD BLESS YOU FARMERS WILL BLESS YOU," he wrote at the time.

Sriman and Vijay shared screen space on films such as Love Today (1997), Friends (2001), Vaseegara (2003), Pokkiri (2007), Master (2021), and Varisu (2023). The actor even attended a promotional event for Vijay's final film, Jana Nayagan, in Malaysia.
