On Wednesday, several reports on social media suggested that Arjun Das, known for his performance in films like Kaithi and Aneethi, is tying the knot. Speculations were rife that the actor was getting engaged sometime this week and that an official confirmation from his side was due.

The rumours came even as his film, Once More, has been long-delayed. Some even speculated on social media if this was just a promotional move for the upcoming film, also starring Aditi Shankar.

However, Arjun Das' manager has now confirmed that there is no truth in the news. Taking to X, he wrote, "Dear all, this is to clarify that there is no truth in rumours doing the rounds about actor Arjun Das's wedding. Request friends from the media to please check with us and verify facts before putting out such news reports." (sic)

Arjun Das was last seen in Kumki 2 and is currently awaiting the release of Con City. Helmed by Harish Durairaj, the film also stars Anna Ben, Yogi Babu and Vadivukkarasi. The film is slated for release on June 26. Meanwhile, Once More was initially scheduled for release on Valentine's Day in 2025 but was delayed indefinitely. Recently the makers announced it will hit theatres this summer. However, a release date is yet to be announced for the Vignesh Srikanth directorial.
