Actor Sriman expressed his excitement for his longtime friend Vijay taking charge as the new Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu. Within days of assuming the CM's office, he has passed an order for the closure of TASMAC stores near places of worship, bus termini, and educational institutions. He has also signed a document for subsidised electricity.

Alluding to the decisions, Sriman wrote, "Respected TN CM SIR We love you sir, Your manifesto started to get activated, We know you, Oru vati mudivu yeduthuta, once decided it will be implemented."

Since the TVK chief's swearing-in ceremony, many reports have been claiming that the CM's cabinet has the highest number of educated ministers for any state in India, including PhD holders, doctors, IIT alumni, lawyers, engineers, and other degree holders. Perhaps this explains why Sriman says that Vijay has "a wonderful team". Appearing in video on X, he wrote, "We the public are behind all your good efforts, we will support every signature of you sir." The actor also conveyed his best wishes to his longtime friend-turned-CM, saying the latter will also have God's blessings in his journey ahead.

Sriman has been a loyal supporter of the superstar ever since the superstar announced his political entry and his party, Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK). After he was announced the CM, the actor said that the "tespect that Vijay gives to the law will definitely give him justice."
