Production halted on Vishal's Magudam mourning late producer RB Choudhary

Vishal's directorial debut, which also stars the actor, is the 99th film to be backed by RB Choudhary under his Super Good Films

Vishal's upcoming film, Magudam, was set to be the 99th film of producer RB Choudhary, who passed away on Tuesday (May 5). The veteran producer was a victim of a car accident in Udaipur, Rajasthan.

In a press release, the team wrote, "Mr RB Choudhary’s immense contribution to the film industry and his unwavering support for meaningful cinema will always be remembered. The team of Magudam stands united in grief and extends their deepest condolences to his family during this difficult time."

The team announced that the production on the film, had been halted for one day. Vishal directs Magudam from a script by Ravi Arasu. The film also stars Dushara Vijayan, Anjali, and Yogi Babu, among others.

Starting his career in 1988, RB Choudhary went on to produce films in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi. His collaborations with Sarath Kumar, Vijay, and Venkatesh have been well received by audiences across languages.
