Few would have predicted actor and TVK chief to have such a massive victory in the Tamil Nadu Assembly Election, especially considering the fact that he was a first-timer. He won in the two constituencies where he stood: Perambur in Chennai and Tiruchirappalli East. Interestingly, actor Pooja Hegde revealed that she was one of those people who made the prediction about Vijay in the Tamil Nadu Election.

Pooja shared a behind-the-scenes video from the set of Jana Nayagan where she playfully suggests that Vijay would win the election. The actor points to a question on a board that reads, "Who wins the elections?" Then, she stands in front of Vijay and winks at the superstar, as if to say he and his party would win the election. Pooja Hegde's gesture made Vijay blush, as he covered his face and walked away, seemingly embarrassed by what she did.

"Guess I called it before it happened? Here's to dreams turning into reality, Vijay sir," Pooja wrote in the caption of the video. Last night, she shared a picture featuring herself with Vijay on her Instagram Stories and wrote, "Congratulations actor Vijay sir. This Thalapathy Kacheri is just getting bigger and bigger. Onwards and upwards only. Party time. Let's gooo."

On the work front, Jana Nayagan brings Vijay and Pooja back together for the first time after 2022's Beast. The film has long been delayed following troubles with censor certification. However, now that Vijay is likely to become the new Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, it is expected that this development would have a positive impact on Jana Nayagan's release.

Besides Vijay and Pooja, the upcoming film from director H Vinoth also stars Mamitha Baiju, Bobby Deol, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Priyamani, Prakash Raj, and Narain, among others.
