Actor Shivarajkumar made his Tamil film debut with a cameo appearance in Rajinikanth's Jailer, which earned him a renewed fan base from Tamil Nadu. While he further went on to do a full-fledged supporting role in Arun Matheswaran's Captain Miller as Dhanush's brother, all eyes are on Jailer 2 for the actor's reprisal of his character, Narasimha.

Meanwhile, speculations are rife that Shivarajkumar is coming back to Tamil cinema for a full-length role as a father. As per reports, he is set to play a father to director and actor Abishan Jeevinth in a debutant's film. However, this is yet to be officially confirmed.

Abishan Jeevinth, known as the director of Tourist Family, recently made his acting debut as a lead in With Love, helmed by Madhan. While he made an extended cameo appearance in his own directorial, he starred as Sathya alongside Anaswara Rajan's Monisha earlier this year in the romantic comedy which was received with love and good reviews.

Abishan Jeevinth is now eyeing a return to direction. At a recent event, the actor-filmmaker said that his next directorial venture will be a commercial family entertainer with a big production scale. "I will most likely start the film next year. It will be a family film that everyone can enjoy," Abishan said. The actor-filmmaker added that he will not star in the film. He has not revealed further details about the project.

Shivarajkumar, on the other hand, has a number of projects in the pipeline. He is doing a prominent role in Peddi, starring Ram Charan, and has Jailer 2 with Rajinikanth coming next. In Kannada, he has Uttarakaanda, Dad, Gummadi Narsaiah, Survivor – A Superstar Documentary, Bail, 666 Operation Dream Theatre, and A For Anand, in various stages of production.
