Weeks after the release of the first single 'Maaya Kanavo' from Nooru Saami, starring Vijay Antony in the lead, the makers of the film dropped the second single 'Amma Amma Dhaan' on Friday.

The emotional melody number about a mother's love, composed by Balaji Sriram, is sung by Sreekanth Hariharan and penned by Mohan Rajan.

The film's title is inspired by Pichaikkaran's song 'Nooru Saamigal Irundhaalum'. Fatima Vijay Antony and Vijay Antony, under their Vijay Antony Film Corporation banner, backed the film.

The film, marking Vijay Antony's reunion with Pichaikkaran director Sasi, is expected to revolve around the emotional bond between a mother and her son. Terming it as a "Family Biopic," the makers described the film as "a journey of blood, sweat, and bonds. This is the life they lived."

Nooru Saami has Swasika playing the female lead. The film also stars Lijomol Jose, Karunaas, Ajay Dhishan, Sakthi, and Kavya Anil. The rest of the technical crew comprises cinematographer Darshan Kirlosh and editor Harish Yuvaraj.

Vijay Antony was last seen in Arun Prabu's political thriller Sakthi Thirumagan. He will next be seen in Lawyer, directed by Joshua Sethuraman, who made his debut with Gentlewoman. Sasi, meanwhile, is making a return seven years after the release of Siddharth-GV Prakash's Sivappu Manjal Pachai (2019).
