At the Leader trailer and audio launch event, Legend Saravanan opened up about being injured during the film's climax shooting and how he managed to shoot despite being bruised.

He started by explaining the set for the shoot and the measures he took for the crew's safety. "In the film's last climax fight sequence, we shot it in a narrow train space. That small space had to accommodate nearly hundreds of foreign stunt artists and thousands of technicians and junior artists. As soon as I went on to the set, I asked my manager to increase the number of ambulances on set, as anybody could get hurt on such a set with fight scenes. For the first ten days, God's grace, there were no major injuries," he explained.

However, Saravanan injured his foot on the tenth day, which put the film's shoot in jeopardy. "On the tenth day, my leg was injured, and I was worried about my ability to go for the film's shoot the next day. I was not in the situation to even walk. They gave me an injection and some tablets, but I was still limping from impact. Although I was doubtful about being able to perform the next day, when the camera started rolling, I got fiery energy, which I didn't know where it came from," he said.

Leader is directed by RS Durai Senthilkumar of Garudan-fame. The cast for the film includes Shaam, Andrea, Santhosh Prathap, Payal Rajput, Lal, Prabaharan, Amirtha Aiyer, VTV Ganesh, Iyal, Aishwarya, Mariam George, Nisha, and Adithya Kathir.

Ghibran is composing music for the film, with lyrics written by Kabilan, Viveka, and Mohan Rajan. The rest of the crew includes Venkatesh S as the director of photography, Pradeep E Ragav as the editor, G Durairaj as the art director, and Mahesh Mathew as the stunt co-ordinator. Leader hits theatres on April 3.
